Senior Theses Presentations will be Monday, May 22nd, through Thursday, May 25th, AMU Lecture Hall

Every night, the presentations will begin at 7pm and allot 30 minutes to each speaker. Please note that each talk is about 15-20 minutes with 10-15 minutes of question/answer from the audience. All are welcome to attend and pose questions (civilly and with due respect to the students and school). There is usually a 10- minute break after the second or third talk.

Families and children are encouraged to attend with their parents, as this event highlights the goal and end of the Donahue education. Below, please find the schedule:

Born in Italy, Fr. Amedeo has been a priest of the Diocese of Syracuse, NY for over 30 years and has served in various capacities, including as a parish priest. For six years he was the director of the Spanish Apostolate for the Eastern Region of the Diocese.

We are very fortunate to have him at Donahue. Please join us in thanking the University for their generosity and Parish Pastor Fr. Cory Mayer for sharing Padre Amedeo with Donahue.

4th Annual Grandparent/Grandfriend Appreciation Day

4th Annual Grandparent/Grandfriend Appreciation Day will be held Friday, March 3 (last school day before Spring Break). Invitations were mailed out last Friday.

The event will begin with registration at 8:00 am, followed by Mass, K-4 performance, classroom visits, school tours and conclude with brunch for all grandparents/grandfriends and their accompanying students.

If you are a new family and would like an invitation mailed to grandparent/grandfriend, please contact Mrs. Nutt.

Donuts and drinks will be provided to each classroom for students who are unable to participate in the brunch.

Donahue Academy Catholic Schools Week, January 29 – February 4, 2017

Invite prospective students and their families to our Open House, Sunday January 29 from 1:00-3:00 PM

  • Tour the school and see all the new improvements
  • Visit the classrooms
  • Meet the teachers
  • Listen to our Headmaster, Mr. Chris Smith present at 1:30 and 2:30 PM about the benefits of a Catholic Classical curriculum

Participate in our Food Drive for Catholic Charities of Collier County – Weekend Power Pack Feeding Program

  • Individually sized cereal bars, granola bars, crackers, fruit cups, instant oatmeal, mac-n-cheese, powdered milk, and cereal as well as cans of chili or ravioli are requested
  • Donations may be dropped off at the school office
