Spiritual Life

The spiritual formation of our students is of great importance to Donahue Academy, which places great emphasis on living as disciple of Christ and being formed in the faith and a life of virtue.   We offer an approach that seeks to offer a moral, doctrinal, spiritual and liturgical formation to our students.  This includes providing opportunities for times of prayer, retreats and frequenting the sacraments.  Examples of the students’ spiritual life are included below:

  • Daily Mass: 9:45 a.m. Monday through Friday
  • Confession: after Mass Tuesday through Thursday;  from 10:10 to noon on Monday.
  • Eucharistic Chapel in the heart of the school open all day
  • Daily Angelus at Noon
  • Spring Retreat for Prep School Students
  • Prayer before classes and games
  • Eucharistic Processions
  • All school Rosaries
  • Daily Consecration to Our Lady as a school
  • Formation through the Disciple of Christ – Education in Virtue curriculum

Christ is the center of our lives and His Eucharistic Presence is at the heart of our School.
