Our inaugural year was a big success and huge fun! Now with our embers glowing, we invite you to be apart of the 2012 festivities.

The day's events begin at 10:30 with a parade of grills. Followed by the Family Festival including carnival games, bounce houses, laser tag and more. Local venues including the Kowiachibee Nature Preserve to Nationally known companies including Treering Yearbooks will exhibit at the event. Collier County Sheriff's will be bringing their K-9 unit, bomb squad and SWAT team. Live music will be provided throughout the day by TCB Mobile Entertainment and the Dazzling DelRays Band will preform between 2:30-6:30 featuring music from the 50's, 60's and beyond. Awards Ceremony at 6:30pm.

This year there will be over 800 steaks cooked on La Piazza in Ave Maria, FL. We will be hosting 14-20 grills of all shapes and sizes with cook teams from near and far.

Contest open to: Any Charcoal Grilling Team that can cook 30 or more steaks and supply their own grill/rig. Charocoal & Steaks provided.

Location: Ave Maria in Collier Country, Florida
Event Begins: Check-in and line up begins around 9am, 10:30am Grill Parade down Ave Maria Blvd and steaks issued. Grills will be lit at 3pm. Dinner served at 5pm. Tickets limited to 800. Tickets $15- includes 16 oz. Ribeye steak, baked potato, salad, roll and beverage.

A grill team is any group of people, that can cook 30+ steaks and has/rents their own rig or grills They must use charcoal or wood, gas is not permitted. They need to pre-register and the deadline is Dec. 23rd, or when all spots are filled. Applications received after the date or after spots are filled will be placed on a waiting list, in the case of a cancellation.
