The Academy boast a unique and popular Shakespearean Drama Program. Each fall high school student can take an elective course to study the poems and plays of the Bard, and each spring the high school presents a dynamic and highly popular Shakespearean play in the “black box” tradition called “Shakespeare in Performance.” This very intimate and engaging format trains our students to act in intimate and outlandish boldness and delivers and theatrical experience like no other. Music, drama and poetry come alive in this engaging format under the guidance of Shakespearean actor and dramatist, Mr. Robert Gottschall.

This year’s performance will be  Comedy of Errors on May 16, 17, and 18th.
